Double celebration for local manufacturer Slingco

There was much to celebrate at Slingco last week. Their founder, Chris Dykins turns 80 this year and their longest standing team member, Rob Schofield celebrated 40 years at Slingco.

They marked the occasion with a lunch of fish & chips fresh from a take-away van in the factory and glasses of fizz, followed by cakes and a coffee truck!

Not far behind Rob is Dave Diggle who will be celebrating his 40 years next year. The team at Slingco were especially delighted that Matt Dykins (US President) was able to join them for this special occasion.

Nick Dykins commented: "Part of our mission is to be authentic, honest and respectful, to care about each other and be proud of our work and the business we are building. It certainly felt that way yesterday. Thanks to Rob and all our wonderful team who have contributed massively along the way."
