Nelson based manufacturer Dale Techniche has announced the appointment of new sewing machinist Donna King.
Donna’s appointment follows Dale Techniche’s continued business growth, and reflects their ongoing commitment to quality, precision and craftsmanship across every stage of production.
Bringing 38 years of sewing experience to the role, Donna offers a depth of practical, hands-on knowledge that reflects a lifelong commitment to her craft.
Her career has spanned a wide range of sewing roles, from making clothing and curtains to more recently the sewing of office chairs. Sewing remains a passion outside of work, with Donna continuing to make her own clothes alongside her daughter.
This breadth of experience provides a strong foundation as she applies her skills to the handcrafting of high-performance workwear and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), bringing precision, adaptability and a strong understanding of quality-led production.
Donna says “It’s been amazing joining the Dale team.
"Everyone has been so welcoming and supportive, and I’ve felt at home from the start. I’m really enjoying getting to know the different garments and working alongside people who take such pride in what they do.”
Donna’s new role will incorporate the sewing and manufacturing of Dale Techniche’s full range of protective clothing, including FR and Arc Flash, Flightwear, Molten Splash and Cut-resistant garments, helping to ensure all our products are supplied on time while maintaining the exacting standards Dale Techniche is known for.
