Cummins Mellor Recruitment Celebrates 23rd Birthday

Staff and bosses at Cummins Mellor Recruitment, Accrington, celebrated the business' 23rd birthday by wearing the corporate colours of pink and black.

The consultancy was set up in 1990 by Richard Mellor, using his spare bedroom as an office. Now Richard and his wife Michelle, who is also a director of the business, own Milnshaw House, Whalley Road, where the business is based and have many long standing members of staff.

In 2012 they completed a £150,000 refurbishment to Milnshaw House, which consists of a new staff room, 3 new meeting rooms and a reception area. Richard said; “I am very proud of everyone who works here, they work to exactingly high standards and have made us well known both locally and on a national level. I am particularly proud of the younger members of our team who, given a chance, prove you are never too young to take on responsibility.” The company also offer their custom built interview rooms out at no cost to local businesses, who wish to arrange confidential meetings or interviews.
