Crowberry Consulting receives Skills Pledge Award for Internship Programme
The recent Lancashire Skills and Employment Hub celebration and awards event took place in Preston, to recognise Lancashire based business investing in skills and training. The Skills Pledge recognises organisations that make a real difference by supporting skills and employment initiatives across Lancashire, helping our community to grow and thrive. The Skills Pledge mission is to support businesses to engage with key skills and employment initiatives. Crowberry Consulting received the award for Internships - offering quality paid internships each year to local University students and recent post graduates. On receiving the award Mary Toal, Head of Quality and Customer Service said; "We are truely delighted to receive this award as we offer quality paid internships every year and work closely with both Lancaster University and University of Liverpool on our programme. For over ten years we have given opportunities to support graduates and under graduates to learn about the sustainability and environmental management sector, we are over the moon to have our progamme acknowledged by the Lancashire Skills Pledge team."
The event was opened by County Councillor Stephen Atkinson, Leader of the County Council. The Lancashire Skills and Employment Hub is part of the Lancashire Combined County Authority.
