Crow Wood's new £13m luxury hotel is the ultimate party venue

The team behind the award-winning The Woodland Spa and Bertram’s Restaurant in Burnley is due to open its latest project in October: Crow Wood Hotel & Spa Resort.

The new hotel will contain 76 guestrooms, including six suites along with a large function room capable of seating 350. This room, which can be divided when required to provide a flexible range of options, is ideal for both corporate events and weddings.

Guest rooms, which provide a picturesque setting for Christmas stays, are complemented by a lobby bar, which is open to both residents and the general public, as well as mouth-watering dining options.

Last December, Bertram’s and The Lounge serviced more than 10,000 covers on the run up to Christmas. This year Crow Wood has added Wilfred’s, a much-anticipated new restaurant which despite not yet trading is already sold out for Christmas Day. This is due largely to the culinary reputation of the business led by head chef and director Spencer Burge; who has twice featured in the Great British Cook Book.

Spencer has notably cooked for well-known guests including Sir Alex Ferguson, Tony Blair and Bill Clinton, and has created this season’s menu.

In addition to Spencer’s individual accolades, Bertram’s was recently awarded Best Luxury Brasserie at the World Luxury Restaurant Awards for the third successive year. Spencer and his team will be applying their expertise to Wilfred’s and to larger catering events within the function room to ensure the same excellent food and exceptionally high quality of service is received all year round at the new venue.

Lancashire Business View will be among the first to host an event at the new hotel, when it brings its Lancashire Business Day celebrations on November 27. This is size of event which Crow Wood can now host, with recent investments adding ample capability to comfortably do so.

If you are searching for a venue capable of delivering excellent service for a large corporate event or would like to find an award-winning venue to make this year’s festive celebration extra special, then opt for Crow Wood and enjoy the brand new and exclusive function room at the hotel. With a superb pre-function area, large function room bar and gorgeous extensive patio area and formal gardens surrounding the lake, you need look no further for your next venue.

Crow Wood is located just off the M65 and is set within 40 acres of private parkland with ample car parking and a great choice of restaurants, the health club and the award-winning Woodland Spa, which once again won Best Luxury Day Spa at the World Luxury Spa Awards this year.

So, whether it is a mid-week business overnight stay you are searching for, a luxury spa break, a beautiful wedding venue or a large corporate event, make sure you speak to Oliver or one of the team at Crow Wood Hotel and Spa Resort.
