Crow Wood Hotel and Spa Resort is proud to announce it has been awarded the EcoSmart Silver Accreditation by Greengage, a respected benchmark for environmental sustainability in the hospitality industry.

This recognition is a testament to the resort’s ongoing commitment to reducing its environmental footprint and adopting sustainable practices across its operations.

The independently audited accreditation highlights key efforts in areas such as energy efficiency, water conservation, waste management, and community engagement.

“We are absolutely delighted to have achieved EcoSmart Silver status,” said a spokesperson for Crow Wood Hotel and Spa Resort. “It reflects our team's dedication to responsible tourism and our goal to offer guests a luxurious yet environmentally conscious experience.”

Elise Ryan, event co-ordinator at Crow Wood Hotel and Spa Resort, added: “This accreditation not only showcases our commitment to sustainability, but also aligns with the expectations of many of our guests and corporate clients who are actively seeking eco-conscious venues. It’s a proud moment for the team and an important step in our ongoing sustainability journey.”

As part of the accreditation, the hotel is now listed as an eco-certified venue across major booking platforms, including Booking.com and Venue Directory. This allows sustainability-minded customers and corporate planners to filter for environmentally accredited properties when making travel or event arrangements.

In addition, Crow Wood Hotel is now featured on the EcoSmart Sustainability Map, a valuable resource for eco-conscious travellers and businesses seeking verified green venues.

The EcoSmart accreditation is reviewed annually, ensuring continued progress and accountability in sustainability efforts. This not only reinforces trust but also supports Crow Wood’s mission to continuously enhance its environmental performance.
