Creche Out sold to international buyer

Creche Out Limited has been sold to established childcare business Little Leaps Learning Academy Inc.

Creche Out Limited, owned by Nicola Alexander, was established in 1992 and operated as a mobile childcare business, providing care for children from birth up until 10 years of age. The business successfully delivered fun and professional care nationwide and internationally in Europe and the United Arab Emirates.

As the UK’s leading dealmaker, Nicola instructed Redwoods Dowling Kerr in the sale and our bespoke buyer intelligence allowed us to find a suitable buyer for Nicola’s business.

The creche was sold to Little Leaps Learning Academy Inc, a childcare company established in Iowa in 2016. The business has two existing settings in Dubuque and Key West and found that the creche was a perfect acquisition for them given the company’s mobile childcare model.

Jacob Rios, co-founder of Little Leaps, has over 15 years’ experience within the sector and was attracted to the flexibility of the opportunity to run a business in additional countries.

Upon completion of the sale, Jacob said: “We are very satisfied with this completion. During the final stages, I didn’t have any doubts or questions, but I was given the same great attention regardless. Any anxiety at the end was minimised as a result of the service”.

Jacob intends to fly to the UK soon to meet the seller and understand the business in more detail during the handover process.
