The Royal Lancashire Agricultural Show, a cherished tradition and one of the oldest events in the Northwest, commenced on Friday the 21st of July and ushered in a weekend of excitement, creativity, and community engagement, despite the heavy rainfall.

Crafty Vintage, the organisers behind the Crafty Vintage Village, were elated to be part of this special occasion that showcases the best of our local talent and creativity.

Crafty Vintage Village, was a vibrant hub of close to 100 makers, creators, and start-ups, in a treasure trove of unique and exquisite products, exemplifying the finest in local ingenuity.

Visitors where captivated by the diverse array of handcrafted goods, including stunning artisanal jewellery, vintage fashion pieces, exquisite home decor, organic beauty products, and delectable artisanal foods.

Beyond being a marketplace, the Crafty Vintage Village is a true celebration of creativity and entrepreneurship, providing aspiring businesses with an opportunity to test the market and connect with a diverse range of customers.

Over the years, Crafty Vintage has played a pivotal role in nurturing over 1000 start-ups, empowering many to turn their creative passions into thriving enterprises. Countless entrepreneurs have successfully transitioned from their 9-to-5 jobs, now following their dreams full-time, while others have found a valuable means to supplement their income. Supporting local businesses not only strengthens families but also bolsters the economic vitality of the Ribble Valley and beyond.

In addition to the fantastic shopping experience, the Royal Lancashire Agricultural Show and Crafty Vintage Village resonated with the soulful melodies of live music, enchanting visitors throughout the event. Local musicians took centre stage, seizing the opportunity to advance their careers by connecting with a broader audience.

Crafty Vintage is proud to be a platform that not only supports makers and creators but also fosters the growth of all local talents, promoting a strong sense of community and encouraging artistic development throughout the borough.

The Royal Lancashire Agricultural Show and Crafty Vintage Village offers an exceptional day out for the entire family, where everyone can bask in the charm of the farming community, connect with local artisans, enjoy live music, and partake in a day filled with joy and entertainment.
