CoolKit set to launch innovative refrigerated vehicle

Burnley-based fridge van conversion specialist CoolKit Ltd will soon be launching a brand-new box body refrigerated vehicle to the UK market, which will be available to view for the first time at the CV Show in April.

With the aim of expanding its product range and always providing solutions to the temperature controlled industry, CoolKit have been investing heavily in research and development to create a new and innovative design solution for this type of refrigerated vehicle.

A combination of new materials, forward-looking design methods and leading-edge technologies has enabled CoolKit to create a lightweight box body refrigerated vehicle offering competitive payload capabilities set to beat existing industry suppliers.

Through strategic partnerships with material suppliers, these new refrigerated vehicles will also come with a selection of optional accessories to create a bespoke conversion matching customer requirements exactly. Utilising lightweight materials, it will be possible to offer storage solutions that won’t affect the payload of the vehicle as much, without compromising on the quality, durability and strength offered.

We have listened to the industry growing requirements and have designeded a concept which will offer durability, quality, strength and capabilities way above current industry standards.” The first completed conversion will be a Mercedes Sprinter Box Body available to inspect at the CV Show, taking place on the 25th -27th April at the NEC Birmingham. CoolKit will have a presence in the Cool Zone where the box body will be present together with a dual temperature controlled Mercedes Sprinter panel van, showcasing a slab door side entrance and removable bulkhead in the load space.
