Conlon scores two framework contracts

Preston-based Conlon Construction has been appointed to two four-year frameworks to undertake new build and refurbishment works.

Michael ConlonLancashire County Council (LCC) recently re-appointed the firm to a framework which will see Conlon undertake a range of projects valued between £500,000 and £15m. In addition Conlon been confirmed as one of just seven contractors appointed by the Education Funding Agency (EFA) onto an £875m framework.

Known for its work in the education sector, Conlon Construction has undertaken numerous projects across the North of England and has similar framework agreements in place with other councils including Wigan, Cheshire West & Chester and Cheshire East, as well as the North West Construction Hub.

Michael Conlon, chairman at Conlon Construction said: "We’re delighted to have gained a place on both of these frameworks which mean an extension to our relationship with Lancashire County Council and new association with the Education Funding Agency.
