Concert Living buys 10 acres for new homes

Concert Living, the commercial arm of The Progress Housing Group, has purchased 9.6 acres of land in Weeton near Preston from Northern Trust Company.

Northern Trust secured outline planning permission for 39 new homes in a mixture of house types and sizes, and Fylde Borough Council has subsequently granted a reserved matters application to Concert Living following a number of plot amendments.

Laurie Lane, land and planning director for Concert Living, said: “Weeton is a fantastic location for family homes and we are excited to add this site to the others in our portfolio which will be coming forward for development over the course of the next year."

It is anticipated that Concert Living will commence work on the site in the Autumn.
