Clarity Wireless relocates to Blackpool
Clarity Wireless has relocated to Blackpool following its acquisition by technology company Infinium IT.[caption id="attachment_24290" align="f-align-medium-right f-align-center" width="300"] Richard Summers[/caption]
Originally based in Warrington, Clarity Wireless was bought by Infinium IT six months ago for an undisclosed sum.Both businesses now form the Infinium Group and share larger premises on Faraday Way in Blackpool with the combined company employing 21 people. It aims to turnover £2m this financial year.
Clarity Wireless was established in 2011 and provides wireless network installations throughout the UK with expertise in installing, maintaining and supporting indoor and outdoor wireless networks. It specialises in the external event, hospitality and leisure sectors.Infinium IT, which has its head office in Blackpool, was formed in 2002 by Peter Miles, the former head of IT at Bourne Leisure. Since then it has grown to be a specialist in the leisure and hospitality industry while also servicing businesses in professional services, insurance and the property sector across the UK.
Richard Summers, managing director of Clarity Wireless said: “Having previously worked on projects together we knew that the Infinium ethos matched our own. Our services and position in the market place complemented each other and it made perfect sense to work more closely together.“Being part of the Infinium IT means that we can benefit instantly from an additional infrastructure of support and UK engineers, successfully built up over a period of ten years. The relationship strengthens both companies proposition, drawing on eachothers’ diverse range of skills and experience.” Peter Miles, Infinium’s managing director added: “This acquisition was a perfect fit, meaning that Infinium’s current products and services are complemented by Clarity Wireless, resulting in an added value service for clients. In turn, Infinium customers will be able to benefit from the services offered by Clarity Wireless, enabling us to deliver a first class Wi-Fi product that draws on our wireless network experience and expertise.”
