Chorley Group scoops national Citroen customer care award

North West motor business Chorley Group has been awarded a prestigious national Customer Care Award by Citroen.  

Chorley Group, which operates 16 businesses across the North West and employs 370 people, has always prided itself on outstanding customer service.  

The Blackpool sales team were crowned winners at an awards ceremony, beating off tough competition from right across the country. 

The Citroen award is based on the results from a customer satisfaction survey completed by everyone who buys a new Citroen across the entire dealer network.

With around 150 dealers the sample size is high and competition incredibly tough.

Chorley Group has won numerous awards for customer care, including Best Customer Service at the Red Rose Awards in 2022. 

Steve Cox, franchise manager at Chorley Group Citroen, said: “The question the customer responds to specifically asks them if they would recommend the dealership to their friends and family, which is even more pleasing as there can surely be no higher recognition than to be recommended by our customers to their own families and friends. And as the award is based on customer service over a full year it shows the consistency we have.   

“There are many different categories in the awards but because this one is voted for by the public this is the one we place significant value on and the one we wanted to win. 

“The business in Blackpool was acquired by Chorley Group in 2022 so it is extra pleasing that the Blackpool team has embraced the Chorley Group ethos of delivering the best possible customer experience, which is core to everything we do as a business.”
