Chard named UK Bullion Dealer of the Year 2015

Chard, coin and bullion dealers of Blackpool, has been awarded the prestigious title of UK Bullion Dealer of the Year 2015 by the Bullion.Directory.

The competition, hosted by Bullion.Directory, invited investors from around the world to vote for their favourite bullion dealer in one of four categories; UK; USA; Canada; and Specialist - and over 20,000 votes were cast.

Chard faced fierce competition from bullion dealers all over the UK including huge national dealers such as BullionByPost and Postal Bullion.

Having recently celebrated fifty years in business, Chard believes that this longevity, combined with the wealth of free information available on their websites and their friendly, knowledgeable staff helped them take gold in these awards.

Staff at Chard like to say they “don’t just sell coins, they know coins” and it seems that this expertise helped them to gain over 50 per cent of the votes in this online competition.

These results show that location and turnover aren’t everything. BullionByPost has a turnover in excess of £100m and is based in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham, yet, sunny Blackpool triumphed in these awards.
