Pierce is delighted to announce eight new promotions across the firm.

Of the eight promotions, four long-standing employees have been appointed as associate directors, alongside two promotions to client managers, a new senior tax manager and a payroll supervisor.

The associate director promotions include client managers with the Business Services team, David Barker and Jonathan Seedall, Corporate Finance’s Jimmy Moore, and Phil Johnson, Payroll.

Katie Nicholson Taylor and Fred Green have become the firm’s newest client managers, responsible for managing a portfolio of clients.

In the Tax team, Ben Davies has advanced to the role of senior tax manager with a specialism in advising medium to large property development and investment groups, both in the UK and International.

Lastly, Layton Smalley in Payroll is now the supervisor for the Blackburn team and is currently undertaking a Leadership and Management course.

Pierce HR director, Lisa Kennery, said: “Pierce is in an exciting period of growth, and we are thrilled to announce our recent promotions across several teams.

"As a firm, we endeavour to support and develop our staff and recognise the hard work of individuals. We wish to congratulate all those recently promoted.”

Corporate Finance associate director Jimmy Moore added: “I am delighted to have been promoted to Associate Director of Corporate Finance at Pierce.  Fourteen years ago I hung my boots up on a professional rugby career and embarked on a different career path.  I have had the privilege of working with and learning from incredible professionals.

"I am incredibly proud of what I have achieved so far and look forward with excitement in my new role, continuing to work alongside our talented and dedicated team to contribute to Pierce's continued growth and success.”

Payroll associate director Phil Johnson added: “I’m thrilled to have been made an Associate Director at Pierce. Having started as an apprentice in 2013, this milestone highlights the opportunities and support Pierce gives their trainees.

"I have been incredibly fortunate to have had an amazing team around me, and I attribute much of my success to them. I am excited for the new challenges ahead and remain committed to contributing even more to the success of Pierce.”

Pierce is currently searching for qualified auditors and a forensic accountant. If you are interested in a career with Pierce, please visit our careers page.
