Lancashire Business View marked its 20th anniversary with a big birthday bash at Blackburn Rugby Club.
The specially invited guests enjoyed an afternoon of food, drinks and celebration as the milestone was marked in true Lancashire style.
Since launching in 2005, the magazine has been at the heart of the county’s business community, championing success stories, innovation and collaboration across Lancashire.
In the past two decades, 125 editions of the printed magazine have been published while flagship events such as the national award-winning Red Rose Awards and Lancashire Business Day have brought the county together.
The magazine also takes pride in putting the spotlight on Lancashire’s up and coming young business talent in the Sub36 campaign while the most profitable SMEs are the focus of an annual Hot100 feature.
All that and more was celebrated at the party held at Blackburn Rugby Club and attended by supporters of the magazine over the past two decades.
Three of the faces who featured in the first issue were in attendance: Jane Law, Paula Holden and Gareth Frankland.
Richard Slater, chairman of Lancashire Business View, said: “Twenty years ago, we set out to connect Lancashire’s business community.
“Lancashire Business View has always been about collaboration, ambition and taking pride in our county.
More than 100 people attended and entertainment was provided by Blowjangles and magician Ian Lavin.
