Catapult PR, the Fylde Coast PR agency with a penchant for devising and delivering hugely creative and high-impact PR and content campaigns, has just scooped its 66th top award.

The achievement is a phenomenal one, for a micro-sized, regionally-based agency, highlighting that size is no substitute for ideas, dedication and the PR agency’s deep experience in sectors such as travel, insurance and financial services, pet, retail and B2B communications.

The 66th award has come in the PRCA DARE Awards, with Poulton-le-Fylde-based Catapult PR taking the winner’s trophy in the Low Budget PR Campaign category, for a travel sector PR campaign.

The agency has purposefully cut back on award entries this year, so took the trophy in the only category it entered in the PRCA DARE Awards, hosted by comedian Matt Richardson.

Catapult PR also won in that same category at the November 2023 Prolific North Awards, proving that it does not need mega-budgets behind its campaigns, to have a tangible impact.

Catapult PR’s first awards came in late 1999, which included a Grand Prix award for the best PR campaign, in any category, delivered in the North West that year. In the past three years alone, it has won 24 awards.

Acting as a PR consultant for a variety of tourism attractions, events and festivals, insurance-sector companies and retail businesses, as well as a copywriter of blogs, content downloads, brochures and other collateral for a variety of B2B clients, Catapult PR has evolved to provide very different approach within the world of PR agencies.

All is handled, on a day-to-day basis, by its managing director, Jane Hunt, who pours decades of experience into each campaign, providing a level of expertise other agencies struggle to offer to clients.  This expertise could, however, be embraced by other agencies that want to benefit from Catapult PR’s skills.

Jane says: “Catapult PR has been on the agency landscape for a very long time now and our longevity speaks volumes.  We have a reputation and track record second to none and continue to reinforce that.  Although we plough our own furrow, I’m very happy, at this stage in our history, to support any agency that requires our specialist expertise, so other agencies should make that enquiry and sound out the options.

“We shall continue to deliver quirky, original and ideas-filled campaigns, as that’s in our DNA and the results speak for themselves. It’s all about added value for our clients and generating very tangible results that help grow their brand or business.”
