Carley joins Napthens' Employment team

The Employment and HR team at Napthens solicitors has expanded with the appointment of solicitor Carley Kerrs-Walton.

Carley joins the firm’s East Lancashire office in Blackburn from GLP Solicitors in Manchester, where she trained and qualified.

After achieving a first class degree in criminal justice and law at Liverpool John Moores University, winning an academic excellence award, she completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law in Manchester.

Carley will support and advise clients on a variety of issues relating to employment law, utilising her experience in drafting settlement agreements, disciplinary and dismissal issues and work place policies.

Oliver McCann, partner in the Employment team and head of Napthens’ East Lancashire office, said: “Carley brings significant experience and expertise in employment tribunal litigation, which will prove extremely beneficial to our clients and makes her a very welcome addition to the team.

“This is an exciting period of growth for the department, which has also recently welcomed HR specialist Allison Coleman on-board.
