Calling all local suppliers

Wyre Council is working together with Wyred Up and Constructionline to seek out local suppliers and offer the opportunity to perform various works for the council.

The brand new Wyred Up Supplier Event aims to inform potential suppliers about opportunities to bid for inclusion within a framework agreement for reactive repairs and maintenance, for minor works up to the sum of £10,000 per annum.

We are looking for bidders who can supply skills and services such as plumbing, drainage, roofing and cladding, joinery, groundworks, electrical, mechanical engineering and more.

This event will take place on Tuesday 23 February at The Venue in Cleveleys, North Promenade, FY5 1LW. It starts at 3:30pm and finishes at 6pm.

If you would like to attend, please register at www.wyre.gov.uk/supplierevent

Representatives from the council’s Building Maintenance team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have, and as the council requires its suppliers to be registered, there will also be staff from Constructionline available to assist with queries regarding the registration process.

Constructionline is the UK's leading procurement and supply chain management service that collects, assesses and monitors standard company information through a question set that is aligned to PAS 91, the standardised pre-qualification questionnaire developed by BSI to reduce duplication within the construction industry. If you have any queries please contact Kathryn.Oakes@wyre.gov.uk or call 01253 887282.
