BEHIND THE BUSINESS PODCAST
After the acclaimed launch of the Behind the Business podcast, Business Helpline is continuing its success with another exciting podcast episode. The Behind the Business podcast uncovers the true life experiences businesses face on a day-to-day basis.

GLENN STOCK - UNIQUE CLEAN
This week Business Helpline interviews the chairman of Colne Football Club and the managing director of Unique Clean Glenn Stock. Glenn is no stranger to hard work and this is one of the contributory factors to the rise of his business. He tells Business Helpline of the challenges he’s faced on the way, how he keeps his mind focussed and all about life as the chairman of Colne Football Club.

Before he launched his business, Glenn took a public services course, spent time in the army, and worked for JJB sports before he took a window cleaning round. This went from strength to strength and over time he went from working as a sole trader to a rapidly growing limited company.

Now Unique Clean employs over 50 staff, with plans for further expansion, and is a highly regarded Lancashire company. They operate nationally and are a testament to the legwork and resilience of Glenn.

Azhar Ahmed of Business Helpline interviews Glenn in this Behind the Business podcast episode. He dives deep into the struggles business owners face when building a business from the ground up and how diversification is crucial in the current economic climate. He also talks about how mindfulness and a morning routine can help with company directors’ focus.
