Business coach tops bill at World Cup event
An award-winning business coach and author will explore what makes a high-performing team at a World Cup-themed business networking event.Heather Wright, of Advance Performance, will share some of her top tips at the next session of ‘Meet and Eat In The Valley’, which takes place at Rossendale Golf Club on Monday May 19.
A mum of two with black belts in four martial arts, Heather is a behavioural change specialist who helps individuals and teams achieve optimum performance.Some of her blue chip clients include Jaguar Land Rover, Rolls Royce, Boots and Pepsi.
Heather said: “All eyes will be focused on Brazil and the World Cup this summer, where 32 teams will compete for one of sport’s biggest prizes.“But what qualities will the winning team have which the others don’t share? And are we born to win? Or is a winning mentality something that can be taught?
“Many of the lessons learnt from sport also apply to the business world.“We’ll explore what makes the difference between good performance and great performance, and how you unlock the potential within your employees to create high-performing teams.”
In keeping with the World Cup theme, delegates attending the event at Rossendale Golf Club will be treated to a Brazilian-style buffet.There will also be a World Cup-inspired performance from an internationally acclaimed surprise guest.
