Burnley’s first Professional Development Expo to take place on January 20

Themis and UCLan Burnley have team up with Adult Learning at Burnley College to offer Burnley’s first Professional Development Expo which will take place on Wednesday 20 January from 5:30pm – 7:30pm at Burnley College.

Guest speakers will be presenting talks on diverse specialist areas from “How to be the perfect interview candidate” to “public speaking for the terrified”. Visiting recruitment specialists will also be offering insider info and tips from their dedicated stands.

The event will host over 20 industry zones including Business, Creative and Digital, Sports Science and Education and Teaching to name a few. Industry Trainers will also be on hand to offer impartial advice and guidance about professional development opportunities and training programmes available through Themis, UCLan Burnley and Adult Learning at Burnley College.

The Professional Development Expo will support local people to realise their potential and aim for the wealth of exciting new roles being created every day by local and national businesses.
