Building for growth

The Lancashire operation of Anwyl Homes has embarked on a major recruitment drive as it gears up for further growth.

The business has appointed 10 new members of staff at its Chorley office in Buckshaw Village.

The housebuilder is forecasting that it will deliver more than 125 new build homes from its Lancashire office before the end of June next year.

And as a result it is making a raft of new appointments across its technical, commercial, construction and sales and marketing teams.

The Anwyl Group employs more than 200 people across the UK. Its Lancashire region was established by managing director John Grime, with the support of two senior executives, and has made a strong start in the last 18 months.

It now employs more than 20 people at its 4,000 sq ft Lancashire office at Rutherford Point.

We have plans to bring a further three developments to the market before the end of the year.

John Grime said: “We’ve been delighted with the progress that has been made by the region over the last 18 months.

From a standing start, we were on site with our first development within six months, swiftly followed by two further schemes, and have plans in place to bring a further three developments to the market before the end of this calendar year.”
