BSS embraces digital to boost winter sales
British plumbing and heating commercial specialist BSS is currently testing the new digital signage system, powered by Dynamax’ digitalsignage.NET software, in 10 per cent of its branches with the intention to roll out to the rest of the network in the next few months.Dynamax has teamed up with Blackpool-based channel partner, Review Systems, in order to fit one or two screens per site. In the stores where there will be two screens, both of them will run the same content.
BSS has chosen to place the digital signage by the sales desk in each store, where they will be running both promotional videos and images of suppliers in an attempt to boost sales.Jonathan Brown, managing director at Review Systems, said: “We have been working with Dynamax for a number of years and in particular been working with the digitalsignage.NET platform. The user/admin interface is so simple yet it’s clever enough in design to allow us to target the right audience at the right time. We are looking forward to watching the network grow and as always are confident Dynamax can help along the way.” In winter time, competition is fierce within the plumbing and heating industry. Both Dynamax and Review Systems believe that digital signage is an effective way to create a memorable experience for any target audience, meaning the aim of increasing brand awareness should be fulfilled.
