Brookhouse Aerospace

Darwen-based aerospace engineering business, Brookhouse Aerospace, has acquired Parker Precision.

Parker Precision in Bilston, Wolverhampton, specialises in providing precision engineering capabilities across a range of industry sectors.

The value of the deal has been undisclosed and Kenny Worth, executive chairman of Brookhouse Aerospace says the acquisition 'is just the next step' in its mission 'to build a leading mid-market company servicing aerospace and defence industries'.

He added: "The expanded organisation will allow Brookhouse to offer its customers a much broader product and service offering and will add considerable value as we look to grow even further.

"In this regard we continue to evaluate, and are actively seeking, suitable additional opportunities.”

Brookhouse Aerospace, owned by Nord Aerospace Holdings, specialises in providing build to print aero-structure solutions across civil and defence aerospace sectors.

In 2024 it expanded with the addition of a new 41,000 sq ft machining facility and head office.

Over recent months the manufacturing and engineering business, which employs 210 people at its Darwen Campus, has also invested over £500k in machinery to extends its capabilities, opened up internal capabilities to meet increased market demand and secured funding, as part of a consortium, for an innovate manufacturing solution.

Matthew Rossiter, chief executive of Brookhouse Aerospace, said: "We are delighted to welcome Parker Precision into the Brookhouse Aerospace group.

"This acquisition is an excellent strategic fit, enhancing our capabilities with Precision CNC Turning, CNC Milling, and 5-Axis Grinding – building on our strategy of providing a complete supply chain solution.

“Parker Precision not only brings a well-established business and highly skilled workforce but also opens access to new customers and strengthens the value we provide to our existing customers.

"Combined with our recent investments in 5-Axis Machining at Darwen, this acquisition positions the group to deliver even greater innovation, flexibility, and added value. Exciting times lie ahead as we continue to grow and evolve together, and elevate excellence for aero-structure solutions."

Parker Precision, which employees 35 people, will continue to operate from its Midlands base as part of the Brookhouse Aerospace group – delivering high quality, innovative and sustainable solutions for its customers while contributing to the growth of the organisation.

Marc Corns, managing director of Parker Precision, said: “The successful completion of this acquisition provides future certainty for our team. As part of Brookhouse, we look forward to the opportunity to further enhance our capabilities and capacity, to deliver customer requirements, advance expertise in key markets and grow the business.”

Brookhouse was advised by David Filmer, Cameron Shaw and Danielle Leeming of Forbes Solicitors.
