British Soap Awards go barmy for fun photo booth

All eyes were on a Lancashire business when they swapped the Preston Docks for the Red Carpet at the British Soap Awards.

Sunshine Events, one of the UK’s leading national supplier and owner of corporate events entertainment, were invited to ITV’s most memorable event of the year to supply the evening’s entertainment- a fun and fabulous photo booth.

As all the popular television shows went head to head to win the ultimate accolade Best British Soap for 2015, many of the cast members partied up a storm in our photo booth, including many actors and actresses from Coronation Street, Doctors, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.

It was the perfect crowd puller with many famous faces going snap happy to create a lasting memory of an amazing evening.

A spokesperson from ITV said: “When it came to organising the entertainment for the British Soap Awards, we only wanted the UK's very best suppliers. We have very strict confidentiality agreements due to security reasons and the celebrities attending and Sunshine Events were extremely accommodating.

“The photo booth went down a massive success with all those attending and the staff went out of their way to make sure the event was fun and memorable. The quality of their customer service is second to none- we'd definitely recommend them for corporate event entertainment.”

Directors of Fun, husband and wife duo James and Sunny Sandwell, were also invited to attend the ceremony and after party and they managed to grab a photo opportunity with television presenter and the evening’s host Phillip Schofield.

Sunny Sandwell said: “We were overjoyed when ITV approached us to provide a photo booth for the British Soap Awards. The staff were a joy to work with and to see so many famous faces using our equipment and having fun was incredible.”

This latest event booking follows a successful 12 months for Sunshine Events who were Tourism and Leisure Business of the Year finalists at Lancashire Business View’s Red Rose Awards 2015. The Preston-based firm has worked with various well-known brands over the years, adding ITV to a long list of client wins including the likes of Google, Glasgow Commonwealth Games, Facebook, Sage Pay and Tesco.
