Create Developments, part of Create Group - Blackpool, is pleased to announce that planning consent has been agreed for an extension to their successful Hampton By Hilton Hotel development on South Shore.

Specialists in Turn-Key Hotel & Residential Developments, Create Developments  will be completing the extension project withtheir sister company, Create Construction, who will be once again providing the construction expertise.    The first phase of the hotel was completed in May 2018 by Create, which was part of the Council's regeneration of the New South Promenade in Blackpool.    The hotel currently comprises of 130 bedrooms, a fitness room, business work zone, reception area and restaurant/bar. It plays an important role in attracting visitors and businesses to the area, as well as supporting the local job market. It recently provided much-needed accommodation for Key Workers during the height of the Covid-19 crisis.   The planned extension to the hotel will provide 74 more bedrooms, a larger and more efficient kitchen & breakfast area and new flexible meeting spaces, improving both its capacity and efficiency. By providing these extra facilities in the area, the hotel will be able to give further support to the new Blackpool Conference Centre and anticipated Winter Gardens exhibition centre extension, as well as helping to boost the local economy.   The new rooms will implement the updated Hilton brand standards, therefore meeting the increasing demand from Hilton Honours guests and business visitors alike. They will also provide much sought-after high-quality bed stock after the loss of the previous Hilton hotel  on the North Shore.    Staff at the Hampton By Hilton hotel  have already been recognised with several Industry awards for customer service & hospitality and the hotel is now one of the most successful in the area.    Gill Mathison, spokesperson for Create Group  said: “The extension to our Blackpool Hampton by Hilton Hotel  is a testament to the success of our team and the quality of the Hampton by Hilton brand. I am delighted that the improvements we are making to the hotel will entice more people to come and stay at the resort, which in-turn will provide much-needed support to other local businesses."    Create Construction will begin building works Q1 2021 with a build duration of 52 weeks.     Main Image top: The Hampton By Hilton, South Shore - Blackpool Image Above: The Hampton By Hilton Hotel extension
