Blackburn Beer and Gin Festival

The much-anticipated Blackburn Beer and Gin Festival is back for its
milestone 10th anniversary, this May Bank Holiday weekend between 2nd–4th May 2025.

Hosted entirely by volunteers, this family-friendly event will once again raise vital funds for the amazing work of Blackburn Youth Zone, uniting the town in a spirited show of support.

What started as a local fundraiser has grown into one of the North West’s most successful charity festivals, bringing together local businesses, families, and friends.

This year, the event is bigger than ever before, packed with live music, more than 60 REAL ALES, a GIN BAR, mouthwatering street food, live rugby, and a wide range of FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT.

Among the highlights include:
• 3 days of live bands and musical acts
• A handpicked selection of 60+ real ales from local and national breweries
• A craft gin bar showcasing local distillers
• A curated line-up of food trucks and street vendors
• Local team rugby matches for sports lovers
• Family zone with activities for kids
• All proceeds supporting Blackburn Youth Zone

Malcolm Ireland, head of festival committee, said: “The Blackburn Beer & Gin Festival isn’t just about great drinks and entertainment, it’s about
bringing people together.

"It’s a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to network, for the
community to connect, and for everyone to rally around an incredible cause.

"There’s nothing better than raising money for our young people while enjoying a pint in great company.”

Entry is just £5 - tickets available online or on the door.

Whether you're a beer enthusiast, a gin lover, a foodie, or a family looking for a fun day out, the Blackburn Beer & Gin Festival 2025 has something for everyone - all while supporting a fantastic
local cause.
