Blackburn Audi's service manager reflects on a challenging year

Meet Aaron Keating, service manager at our prestigious Blackburn Audi centre. Aaron has an impressive 17 years in the motor industry, but like many of us has had quite the challenging year, as he joined us immediately before the first lockdown. Here’s what he said about his 2020 experiences.

“The biggest challenge has been the requirement to constantly adapt – the government advice has changed so frequently but customers’ expectations of the standards of service we deliver hasn’t. We have had to change everything about what we do, from how we present the showroom to whether we can offer courtesy cars. And all the time we still have to give customers the kind of experience they have come to expect from us.

"I am very pleased with the speed at which we have adapted – the team have done a great job. When we look back, we can see that we have delivered growth even in the midst of the pandemic, which is a great credit to the team. In 2021 we need to continue to grow – we want a fast, positive start to January. To help with this we have some new additions to the team and I am looking forward to seeing how they grow into their roles and add value. But the thing I want most from 2021, like all of us, is to be covid free."

We think we all share Aaron's wish for a happy and healthy 2021. But in the meantime Audi service, sales and maintenance continues in Blackburn under Aaron's watchful eyes.
