Local cardboard box manufacturers, Belmont Packaging, are celebrating a record year in sales for the company’s E-Commerce branch, ‘Boxed-Up’.

After a record turnover of £500k last year for Boxed-Up alone, director of the two companies, Kate Hulley, believes that this symbolises just the start of things to come for Belmont’s child company:

“It’s an exciting time for all of us at Belmont right now, and Boxed-Up’s success is just one of many elements indicative of the company’s growth.”

Market-leaders Belmont, who specialise in the manufacture and supply of corrugated cardboard solutions, identified a gap in the E-Commerce market for plain corrugated cardboard boxes and launched Boxed-Up as a result.

As one of the leading, first manufacturers in the UK to take the E-Commerce plunge, Belmont are rapidly reaping the rewards; with Boxed-Up having doubled in size in the last 2 years.

With further plans to invest in Belmont’s E-Commerce branch, Kate believes that 2017 was just the first of many record-breaking years for Boxed-Up: “We’ve already got more investment plans in place for 2018 to improve Boxed-Up’s automation, along with a completely separate division in our warehouse – all of which should be complete by the end of summer.
