Bay View Childcare to expand portfolio

Lancaster-based Bay View Childcare is to add a fifth care home with a new seven-figure funding package secured through Arbuthnot Latham & Co.

The company currently owns and operates four childcare homes in the Morecambe Bay area, working with multiple agencies to provide care package through childhood, teenage years and preparing for independence as adults.

The finance package will be used to open at least one more care home in the Morecambe area.

Paul Johnson, director of Bay View Childcare director, said: "The Lancashire coast provides a wonderful environment for children and young people to develop and flourish and our care provision is based on the belief that all young people benefit from a comfortable and caring environment.

“This funding will help us to continue to provide a therapeutic and nurturing environment that enables young people who come into our care to work towards a brighter more prosperous future.”
