BAE extends commitment to community foundation
The AFC Fylde Community Foundation has announced the continuation of its partnership with defence, aerospace and security company, BAE Systems.The two year agreement provides £20,000 of funding from BAE Systems and will enable the AFC Fylde Community Foundation to educate, motivate and inspire people across the Fylde Coast.
Since 2012, BAE Systems has helped fund the Foundation’s work with primary school physical education and enrichment programmes, diversionary outreach programmes, community youth club programmes and education services, as well as arts and health and well-being programmes.Tom Hutton, director of community development at the AFC Fylde Community Foundation, said: “Our BAE Systems partnership has been vital in the development and growth of the Foundation.
“We’re so pleased that we’re continuing our partnership with BAE Systems so that we can help even more people across the Fylde Coast.“From youth club programmes, to engaging older people through 50+ education, the company’s support is crucial to what we do. We hope this continued partnership will help us enrich people’s lives for many years to come.”
