People in Lancashire are being offered up to £22,500 to help make their move to a new home through Bellway's autumn incentives. And there are more savings to follow, with energy bills typically 21 per cent lower for people who live in new properties.
Research by HBF highlights the environmental and energy efficiency savings achieved in new homes. Carbon emissions are typically 33 per cent lower than in older homes, while upgrading a second hand property to modern standards can cost £70,000.
Bellway is offering a range of incentives to help people to secure their own new energy efficient home this autumn, with savings of up to £22,500 available on selected plots. This can be used towards a deposit, to reduce mortgage payments, or to pay for upgrades such as flooring and appliances.
Jenny Bell, sales director for Bellway North West, said: “Living in a new home has many benefits, including energy efficiency, lower carbon emissions and the opportunity to create a house that feels like home from day one.
“Bellway has been building high-quality homes for 80 years and we value feedback from our customers. They consistently tell us that financial incentives make the cost of moving more manageable.
“Our autumn campaign focuses on creating houses that feel like home while helping customers to find their ideal home before winter.”
Bellway’s autumn ‘Feels like home’ campaign runs until Saturday 31 October with incentives on offer at its developments in Great Eccleston, Poulton le Fylde, Lathom and Chorley.
