Employers keen to harness the power of highly-skilled, motivated Apprentices are making preparations as our hugely-successful Themis Apprenticeship Careers Event returns for another year in 2025.

It is the ideal opportunity for would-be Apprentices looking for employment in all sectors to talk to the biggest names in industry from around Lancashire and beyond – from small, family businesses to global aerospace giants.

The Themis Apprenticeship Careers Event offers all those considering an Apprenticeship route to career success the opportunity to:

  •   Meet top employers in a wide range of industries and sectors
  •  Discover the very latest Apprenticeship vacancies
  •  Talk to industry-expert Themis Tutors and Trainers
  • Access advice and guidance on becoming a Themis Apprentice
  •  View our industry-standard workshops and learning suites
  • Start the Themis Apprenticeship recruitment process.

More than 350 potential apprentices are expected to attend on the night.

  • Date: Wednesday, 22 January 2025
  • Time: 5.30pm-8pm
  • Location: Burnley College, Princess Way, Burnley BB12 0AN.

Neil Burrows, director of Skills and Innovation at Burnley College, said: “This is an annual event in the calendar for employers across the region and, every time it comes around, it gets bigger and better as we focus in on exactly what both employers and potential Apprentices want.

“There’s a real expo feel with employer stands and exhibitions, plus the opportunity for employers and potential Apprentices to network. At the event, there’s lots of information on why Apprenticeships are a great choice after GCSEs, as well as for those looking to upskill or change career path, and how they are vital for business development in the current economic climate.

“We know that, in previous years, the Themis Apprenticeship Careers event has been the place where employers have first met their ideal Apprentice – that individual who has been integral in transforming their business and becoming a #futureboss.

“The Themis Apprenticeship Careers Event is a highlight in the calendar for hundreds of ambitious, potential Apprentices who are keen to meet employers and make a great first impression. It’s the start of something special.”
