Angels to bring £2.5m investment to Lancashire

Haworths Chartered Accountants is calling Lancashire investors to take part in a Business Angels investment event in Blackburn on Tuesday 10 February.

The panel will be made up of high net worth individuals and venture capitalists, who will be aiming to invest in a great business idea. Places are limited at the event, where Lancashire’s Rosebud Business Finance is amongst some of the investment on offer – yet more angel investors are encouraged to get involved to form part of the panel.

They should be seeking between £20,000 and £500,000 in return for an equity stake in their business and should be able to demonstrate rapid growth, an experienced management team and a viable business plan that has the potential for long-term expansion in a growing market. Just five companies will be selected to present on the night and will each deliver a presentation and answer questions from the angels. The investors will then decide which investment opportunities are right for them.
