Andrew Porter scoops national award

Specialist furniture logistics provider Andrew Porter Limited has been voted the best transport provider in the industry for the second time.

Andrew Porter Limited has made significant investments to enhance its furniture logistics provision over the past 18 months and counts some of the UK and Ireland’s leading furniture manufacturers and retailers among its clients. These include La-Z-Boy, Nolte Mobel, Perfect Home and HSL.

Managing director Tim Aspey said: "It is very pleasing to have won this award on a second occasion, particularly as we are celebrating the milestone of our 40th year in business this year.” Andrew Porter Limited operates from the largest specialist storage warehouse in the north, which has recently undergone a full refurbishment. It has a fleet of more than 60 vehicles and carries out approximately 3,500 deliveries per week.
