Anderton Gables (AG) Project and Building Consultancy has launched a Joint Venture (JV) Consultancy to facilitate collaboration and promote development partnerships.

The announcement follows the completion of Stonebrook, a 61-unit housing development delivered by Joint Venture Partners, Trafford Housing Group and Wates Living Space.

As a leading regional housing development advisor and employers agent, AG will be positioned strategically to assess viability, reduce risk and improve gross development value of housing schemes.

On the new venture, managing director, Jonathan Shaw comments: “It’s exciting to be at MIPIM launching our new Joint Venture Consultancy. We value the stage which MIPIM provides us to a regional, national and international audience and feel it appropriate that we announce our new business venture amongst our industry peers.

“The focus of our JV business will be looking to initiate relationships in order to develop partnerships between registered providers (RPs) and developers / contractors as well as providing JV contract services ensuring quality of delivery.

“Our network of RPs, developers and contractors across the North, coupled with thousands of units either on site or at appraisal stage means we know the market and the crucial numbers.

“We can advise on viability, open market sales approaches, procurement routes and hand hold along the path to ensure a comfortable and profitable Joint Venture.”

On their experience of working with Anderton Gables, Trafford Housing Trust’s chief executive, Larry Gold said: “Trafford Housing Trust Developments Ltd created a JV Structure with Wates Living Space for the development of Stonebrook, a 62 home development in Timperley, Trafford. The LLP appointed Wates Construction to undertake the build and appointed Anderton Gables (AG) to oversee the “open book” costings, programme and delivery of the build.

“The LLP Board gained much assurance from the professional and reasoned approach and controls that AG installed into cost movement, inspection and reporting. The success of the scheme is testament to true partnership working and how AG managed the process and provided a very balanced service for both LLP Partners."
