With stunning views over the River Ribble, Macdonald Tickled Trout Hotel makes the idyllic setting for a Christmas celebration.

Let us take the hassle away from you and make this Christmas one to remember with quality food that has been specially sourced and first class service with you and your family in mind.

The hotel

The Macdonald Tickled Trout Hotel features the Riverside Bar and Lounge, where you can relax and enjoy a beverage from our new Good Cup Coffee Co. Join us at the new Scottish Steakhouse where imaginatively reworked Scottish favourites are passionately prepared by our world class chefs, using only the finest and freshest produce.

In addition a number of our bedrooms are being re-decorated from top to bottom including beautiful new bathrooms and soft furnishings. The hotel has also retained many traditional features, such as wood beams in our restaurant and an open plan lounge, creating a warm and welcoming ambience.

Macdonald Tickled Trout is always a popular meetings venue due to our convenient location, well-equipped conference suites and extensive onsite parking.  Alternatively, our riverside terrace is the ideal place to enjoy a morning coffee with friends or relax with a pre dinner drink as you take in the views.

Party like an A-lister

Macdonald Tickled Trout Hotel is the idyllic setting to celebrate in style with friends and colleagues.

Start the festivities with an arrival drink at 7.00pm before settling down to a delicious three course meal featuring all the festive favourites, specially prepared by our team of expert chefs.

Afterwards you can dance the night away into the early hours to all your favourite music provided by our resident DJ until 12.30am.

Corporate Christmas lunches: A well-earned treat

Take time out from your busy schedules and celebrate the season with your colleagues.

A grand occasion or small informal gathering, enjoy our festive menu in a relaxed atmosphere.

New Year’s Eve dinner dance

Celebrate in style this New Year and welcome in 2019 with friends and family.

Begin with a cocktail and canapés reception on arrival before taking your seats for a seven course feast. Full of drama and taste enjoy a traditional address of the haggis.

A live vocalist and DJ will keep you dancing all the way into 2019.

Christmas treats

Personalise your Christmas by adding a special drinks package or menu course to your party night or lunch. Options include an extensive wine selection, cheese boards and private upgrades.

Super stocking fillers

Alternatively, treat someone special with a gift voucher for luxury accommodation, award-winning dining, a round of golf or an indulgence spa treat. With so much on offer this year at Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, you’re sure to find the perfect Christmas treat.
