Nikki Hesford, Growth Specialist at the Blackpool Growth Business Academy has launched her Women Scaling Up Programme and is looking for female entrepreneurs in Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre to benefit from the six-month programme.

When looking to scale businesses often start to ask how or what’s next? The Women’s Scaling Up Programme helps provide the answers and the direction needed to grow with confidence, as well as providing access to an exclusive event with Dave Fishwick from Bank of Dave.

This fully funded programme is designed specifically for female founders and business leaders with the ambition to scale their business. With only 12 places available, this is a unique opportunity to grow with expert insight, tailored support, and a clear plan of action.

To be eligible for the Women’s Scaling Up Programme, leaders should:

  • Be a female founder or female decision maker (Director level)
  • Be based in Blackpool, Fylde or Wyre
  • Have business premises and/or at least one employee
  • Have an annual turnover of approximately £100,000
  • Have a desire to grow further and be committed to scaling

The programme is expected to be in high demand as it goes beyond traditional business support. It’s a focused and practical roadmap for scaling, designed to challenge leadership and help shape strategic thinking.

Participants will benefit from tailored one-to-one mentoring from experienced business advisors, along with structured sessions to help sharpen business strategies, overcome barriers, and scale with clarity.

The programme will support the next stage of business growth, whether that’s streamlining systems, strengthening teams, or boosting profitability.

Nikki said: “This isn’t just any business support programme; it’s a focused, intensive and innovative opportunity to help women take their businesses to the next level. If you’re ambitious and ready to grow, we’ll give you the tools and direction to do it.

“Plus, being around other like-minded women who are facing similar challenges and who are celebrating similar milestones offers you that real peer support and that can be such a powerful motivator.”

Everyone accepted onto the programme will receive exclusive access to Rock and Revolution 2025, a high-profile business event taking place on 1st October 2025 at Blackpool Football Club.

The keynote speaker of this insightful and inspirational event is Dave Fishwick, the entrepreneur behind the Bank of Dave and a passionate champion of business growth.

Female entrepreneurs across the Fylde coast are being encouraged to sign up to The Women’s Scaling Up Programme for support in growing their business.
