An action-packed few months at Complete

We’ve been very busy supporting the local community and have taken on a number of thrill-seeking challenges, and we’ve got more in the pipeline too!

Walk the Big One

In June, our amazing team took on the challenge of Walking the Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach Resort. This was certainly an adrenaline-filled challenge, and we raised an incredible £565 for Cash For Kids Lancashire.

Cash For Kids Lancashire works to support children in the local area who are dealing with a range of issues. Many children in Lancashire could use extra support, whether that be with living, education, or other issues.

During the Walk the Big One challenge, we reached an incredible 235 feet and it’s safe to say that we’re feeling very proud of ourselves for completing this one.

Charity Golf Day

We recently took part in our very first charity golf day at St Annes Old Links Golf Club. Taking part in The Annual Captains' Charity Day was lots of fun, and we even got our own branded flags and golf balls for the event.

We’re delighted to have been able to support two amazing charities, which the Captain chose: Pancreatic Cancer and JDRF.

Our next challenge: Tough Mudder

We’re so excited to be taking on Tough Mudder at the end of July! We’ll be taking on this challenge for the incredible Lancashire Mind, which supports people of all ages in the local area.

Lancashire Mind is an independent mental health charity which delivers life-changing and life-saving services to improve mental health and wellbeing for people all over Lancashire. It delivers a host of services for adults, children and young people, including coaching sessions to increase well-being, confidence, and resilience, and a Bounce Forward programme in schools where children gain skills and strategies to carry with them throughout their lives. This work all helps to alleviate the pressure on NHS services and prevents people reaching crisis points.

Lancashire Mind's corporate fundraiser, Emma Broom, said: "We are so grateful to the team at Complete for putting their minds and bodies to the test and we wish them all the very best with conquering the Tough Mudder. They're raising vital funds to support our work which changes and saves lives.

"It costs £2m per year to deliver our services so all fundraising efforts are incredibly important. We are so appreciative of Tom and the team at Complete for their ongoing support."

We are so excited to take on this challenge as a team! All donations can be made using this link and would be greatly appreciated.
