Lancashire based Altius Group, the leading UK boutique business broker, has announced its latest support for charity with a £6,000 donation to Rainbow Hub in Mawdsley, Lancashire.
Rainbow Hub provides rehabilitation services for children and young people across the North-West with physical disabilities resulting from neurological conditions or brain injuries.
The charity supports 160 children and their families throughout the year, offering a diverse range of services to improve the physical, social and emotional well-being of children with complex needs through fun and practical play-based therapies, while giving parents vital guidance and support.
The donation will fund support for a family for an entire year.
Altius staff chose Rainbow Hub through the ‘Chairman’s Charity’ initiative led by Chairman, Paul Miller. Over the past 3 years Paul pledged £200 per goal scored by Newcastle United FC across each season.
Commenting on the donation, Lyndsay Fahey, CEO, Rainbow Hub said: “We are thrilled to receive such an amazing and unexpected donation from Altius Group. Rainbow Hub is a very special place. Everything we do is about increasing independence and supporting the children and families to be the best they possibly can. Every penny of your donation will make a difference and support this. We cannot thank you enough.”
Teresa Deeney, head of marketing at Altius Group said: “Rainbow Hub makes a real difference to children and families across Lancashire and the north west, and we’re proud to support its work. Knowing this donation helps fund a full year of care for one family makes the contribution especially meaningful for everyone here at Altius.”
