Alison Handling named Small Business of the Year at Business Masters Awards

The Business Masters Awards is an annual event designed to celebrate business innovation and achievement across the North West. The awards were marked with a ceremony at the Hilton Deansgate hotel, Manchester.

Alison Handling Services Ltd is located in Kirkham and specialises in supplying Euro Stacking Containers, Lidded Boxes, Stack Nest Boxes , Pallet Boxes and Plastic Confectionery Trays, along with an extensive product range  

The firm was among six nominees for the prestigious Small Business of the Year accolade.

All nominees at this year’s awards were selected due to their outstanding contribution in either leadership or for representing their region in their sector or on a bigger stage. The North West was represented throughout the evening by the finest business from a multitude of sectors.

Alison Dearden, director of Alison Handling, said after the ceremony: “It was an honour to be recognised as Small Business of the Year, especially with the strong competition we saw in the category this year. I would like to thank our team for all their hard work and dedication – this is a fantastic achievement for everyone at Alison Handling.”

After the Awards were presented, the attendees enjoyed a dinner at the hotel, followed by entertainment from all-female electric string group String Infusion.
