Award-winning jewellery expert Helen Dimmick, director of Ainsworth Jewellers in Blackburn, has been appointed to the Board of the British Allied Trades Federation (BATF).
Helen joins the BATF Board as the representative of the National Association of Jewellers (NAJ), bringing with her more than 30 years of industry experience spanning retail, gemmology, education and consultancy.
Helen said: "I'm pleased to represent the NAJ on the BATF Board, helping to ensure the needs of member associations remain at the heart of decision-making while promoting collaboration, shared values and strong standards across the federation."
The British Allied Trades Federation represents a wide range of trade associations and businesses working to support, strengthen and promote the industries it serves.
Helen is widely regarded as one of the UK's leading jewellery professionals. An award-winning gemmologist, diamond grader and jewellery expert, she also specialises in consultancy, training and public speaking, combining an academic approach with decades of practical retail experience.
As co-director of Ainsworth Jewellers, alongside her husband and fifth-generation jeweller Phil Ainsworth, Helen helps lead one of the UK's most established independent jewellers. The family business has been serving customers for more than 156 years.
