North West accountancy firm Moore and Smalley has promoted one of its longest serving staff members to the role of partner.
Adam Parton joined the firm as an 18-year-old accounts trainee in 1993 and has worked his way up to the top after more than two decades of advising local businesses.As part of his promotion to partner, Adam, 39, will also lead Moore and Smalley’s specialist payroll team at its Lancaster and Preston offices.
He said: “I’m incredibly proud to make the partnership and pleased that many of the clients I started working with as a teenager are still with the firm today. We have a great team and I’ve made so many good friends and contacts along the way.
