The Official Accrington Stanley Supporters Trust (OASST) is continuing its mission to protect and celebrate the proud heritage of Accrington Stanley and is inviting fans to help grow its impressive collection of club memorabilia.

As a founder member of the Football League in 1888, the OASST have aspirations for a heritage centre to celebrate the great history of Accrington Stanley.

Recently, the OASST showcased highlights from their ever-growing heritage collection at a special event held at Coley’s at the Wham Stadium.

Fans were treated to a stunning display of football shirts through the ages, historic photographs, programmes, fanzines, badges and much more.

The OASST collection is also proudly on display at the OASST shop in the Arndale, Accrington, where fans can explore the club’s rich history and enjoy a closer look at some of the most cherished items in Stanley’s heritage.

The evening also featured a social gathering with members of the Accrington Stanley first team, who joined fans for rounds of pool and darts, creating a truly memorable night for all in attendance. First team manager John Doolan and Chairman David Burgess also spoke to supporters attending the event.

Peter Leatham, chair of the OASST, said: "Our memorabilia is stuff we simply can’t afford to lose, we have to preserve it. We keep gathering more and if you’ve got anything you’d like to donate, please get in touch or drop it off at the Arndale shop. We need to keep protecting our heritage for future generations of Accrington Stanley supporters."

Fans can also enjoy pool and darts at Coley’s Sports Bar & Social Club on Fridays from 5pm-10pm, Saturdays from 12pm-8pm (excluding matchdays) and Sundays from 12pm-8pm, offering another great way to connect with the club and fellow supporters.

For more information on donating memorabilia, visit the OASST shop in the Arndale, or contact the Official Accrington Stanley Supporters Trust - https://onstanleyon.com/questions-for-the-trust/
