Accountants cheque in with children’s hospice

A fundraising partnership with neighbourly accountants certainly adds up as far as a Chorley children’s hospice is concerned for Leyland based chartered accountants Haines Watts have presented Derian House with a magnificent cheque for £1,264.

She said “At the hospice we have to raise £2.9m annually and simply couldn’t survive without our grass roots supporters, such as the wonderful people at Haines Watts. This is a fantastic sum of money and we are so grateful for their help.”

Accounts and Audit Senior Victoria Deane, who co-ordinated the fundraising activities throughout 2012 was equally delighted to have broken through the ‘£1,000 barrier.”

Derian House celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2013 with a series of events planned to boost much-needed funds.

Meanwhile, the charitable accountants at Haines Watts aim to continue with their own fundraising efforts throughout the coming year.
