15 Swansway years for brand director Ben Gilbert

We are celebrating with Audi, Volkswagen and SEAT Brand Director Ben Gilbert (mid-R), who has reached his 15 year anniversary with Swansway Group. Ben tells us it has been a great pleasure to be part of how the Group has matured, developed and flourished. And he says it has been very exciting to oversee all the developments at  Preston Audi and Blackburn Audi, as well as looking forward to all that is to come with Oldham VW.  So we asked him what he thought was at the heart of the Group’s success. Ben says,

“The wonderful thing about working with this family is the trust and autonomy that they invest in their teams. It’s a flexible, entrepreneurial environment, where good ideas are welcomed and decisions are made quickly. You certainly feel that what you do here has a significant impact on the Group’s success. And you have to demonstrate a true ability to manage a business. With that balance of trust and challenge, comes a huge amount of personal investment and loyalty. Which makes it an extremely rewarding place to work.

The future for Swansway is strong. We have a really positive culture of working cooperatively with manufacturers, which contributes to our positive performance. And we have the great proven ability to make any rapid changes we need to make. It’s very exciting.”
