More than 1,100 representatives of Lancashire business celebrated another fantastic 12 months of trading at the fourth annual Red Rose Awards – the biggest to date.
The guests attended the glittering ceremony held at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens. TV and radio personality Graham Liver compered the event, and awards were handed out across 25 categories.
The Red Rose Awards is the event which takes business seriously, but does so with a smile on its face. Entertainment was provided by the NHS 100 Voice Choir, Blowjangles and the Ian Hooper Band. A special award, chosen by the publisher of Lancashire Business View, was presented to Funda.
Richard Slater, publisher of Lancashire Business View and producer of the Red Rose Awards said: “It was a remarkable night of celebration for Lancashire business
“There’s a renewed vigour and confidence in the county’s business community and this was demonstrated by the demand to be a part of the event; we’re told this is the biggest dinner gathering ever seen in one room in the county.
“There is no question, Lancashire was the winner.”
