The HR Exchange - Wigan

Due to the huge success of our HR Exchange events in Manchester and Lancashire over the last 5 years we are delighted to announce a new addition to our venues.

The event will focus on Managing Sickness Absence and will be a must for HR professionals, senior managers and business owners dealing with the employment and HR issues involved in long-term or repeated, intermittent sickness absence.

Karen will discuss sickness absence issues from a general medical perspective and will highlight specific medical conditions employers regularly come across, as well as others that are not so commonplace. Her session will provide practical guidance for employers and will also highlight the medical considerations relevant when managing sickness absence and having to consider obligations under the Equality Act 2010.
