The AI Lab: E-commerce

08 May 2026

Door4, Burnley Wharf, Manchester Road, Burnley, BB11 1JG

09:00 - 11:30

See how ambitious e-commerce brands turn AI into real outcomes. This hands-on session focuses on practical ways to boost efficiency across content, merchandising, and customer experience—while staying on-brand, compliant, and in control. You’ll leave with ideas, demos, and tools you can apply immediately.

The E-commerce AI Lab is a hands-on session built for e-commerce managers working in fast-moving, high-pressure environments.

We’ll focus on real-world examples to show how AI can help with product content, merchandising, and customer experience.

Following a crawl–walk–run structure, we’ll explore how to:

  • Start with chat-based AI to speed up copy and decisions
  • Use AI reasoning to improve accuracy and consistency
  • Move toward agentic AI that can handle tasks for you

You’ll see interactive demos, tools you can try, and ways to keep guardrails in place for claims, privacy, and approvals.

Door4

Built for transactional businesses facing stockouts, return spikes, seasonality, and margin pressure from constant discounting.

You’ll try structured prompts, watch AI prioritise actions using real context, and see agentic workflows that plug into your existing stack.

Expect live demos, governance checklists, and practical templates to help you improve speed and accuracy across content, merchandising, and service – while protecting margin, compliance, and customer trust.

Do I need to understand technology or AI to attend?
Whilst this is a foundational session, designed to inform and educate about the power and capabilities of AI in e-commerce, some beginner knowledge is recommended.

How long does the session last?
The session runs for 2 hours. You’re very welcome to stick around and chat with our team afterwards.

Can I bring a guest?
This event is most suited to management and leadership roles. We ask that everyone who is attending register on Eventbrite, and we limit attendance to two people per company.

Is there car parking?
Yes, there is free parking. See directions to the Door4 office with the what3words location.

This isn’t another event that could’ve been an email. We tackle real e-commerce challenges—like content gaps, decision friction, and messy attribution—through 12 hands-on AI use cases focused on content, merchandising, and service.

Come to spot ideas you can start using—next week, not next quarter.
